This was a film that started with a song. Gary was working on some music. Needed visuals. The beauty of this new world, is that you can start with a blank screen and with some effort you can almost make anything. So this ended up being a film about cultural appropriation, which is a pretty well tread path, but thought it could use fresh eyes.
